Beijing Bound (via Czech Republic, Poland and Germany)!
Hello! I left just before the holidays to go to the Christ Kindel markets of Prague and Germany. A couple of stops in Poland yielded Polish Pottery at rock bottom prices. But the Spirit of Christmas was alive and well in Prague and throughout Germany–complete with snow, bratwurst, gluhwein and handmade Christmas ornaments and crafts.

As an event planner of many cultural weddings, I loved seeing this wedding cake in the window of a German pastry shop

Silvester (New Year's Eve Celebration) in the charming walled city of Iphofen, Germany. The food was excellent but the Altenhofer made the most wonderful hosts for our evening of a sit-down dinner and dancing. A fireworks display was put on by Iphofen locals.
